1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Deleix Invoice Maker web application, located at invoice-maker.deleix.com, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must discontinue use of the service immediately.

2. Description of Service & Free Tier

Deleix Invoice Maker provides a browser-based invoicing tool enabling freelancers, independent contractors, and businesses to generate, calculate, print, and export commercial invoices. The Free tier is provided at no monetary charge and requires no account creation or registration. Free tier users are granted a non-exclusive, revocable license to create unlimited invoices for lawful business purposes. Free tier PDF documents include a discreet attribution credit in the document footer.

3. Pro Subscription, Free Trial & Billing

Users may optionally subscribe to Deleix Invoice Maker Pro to access convenience features including custom seller logo rendering, multiple document styling themes, local client address books, template duplication, and local invoice history. Pro subscriptions are offered on monthly ($6/month) and annual ($49/year) billing cycles.

All Pro subscriptions include an initial 7-day free trial. A valid payment card must be provided through our payment processor (Stripe) to initiate the trial. You will not be charged during the 7-day trial period. If you do not cancel prior to the conclusion of the 7-day trial, your payment card will be charged the agreed recurring fee for your chosen billing cycle.

4. Cancellation & Subscription Termination

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time via the Stripe Customer Portal link accessible on our Pricing page or in your initial confirmation email. Cancellation stops future recurring charges. Upon cancellation, your Pro features remain fully accessible until the conclusion of your current paid billing period. After this date, your editor reverts to the Free tier. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods once a recurring charge has processed.

5. User Responsibilities & Legal Compliance

You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for the factual and statutory accuracy of any invoice generated using this tool. You are responsible for ensuring that all tax identification numbers, VAT/GST registrations, statutory line item disclosures, payment terms, and currency conversions comply with the tax and invoicing laws of your operating jurisdiction. The compliance checklists and country presets provided within the application are advisory only and do not replace certified legal or accounting counsel.

6. Intellectual Property & Data Ownership

You retain 100% ownership of all business names, client details, line items, logo files, and financial records inputted into the application. Deleix Invoice Maker claims zero ownership or intellectual property rights over user-created invoice content. The Deleix Invoice Maker name, brand assets, interface designs, vector layouts, and software code are the proprietary intellectual property of Deleix.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

The application is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, statutory, or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Deleix disclaims all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Deleix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, tax penalties, audit expenses, or data loss arising from your use of the application.
