Refund & Billing Policy

1. 7-Day Risk-Free Trial

Every new monthly and annual subscription to Deleix Invoice Maker Pro begins with an unrestricted 7-day free trial. During this trial period, you have complete access to all Pro features, including custom logos, 8 document themes, client address books, local history, and template duplication. Your payment card will not be charged during the trial. If you cancel your subscription at any point within the first 7 days, you will never be billed.

2. How to Cancel Your Subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time without having to contact customer support or navigate complicated cancellation funnels:

1. Visit the Pricing page and click the "Manage Billing" button, or click the direct portal link included in your initial welcome email.
2. Authenticate via Stripe's secure one-time passcode sent to your billing email.
3. Click "Cancel Subscription" to confirm.

Your cancellation takes effect immediately for future billing cycles. Your Pro entitlements will remain active until the end of your current paid billing period, after which your editor gracefully returns to the Free tier.

3. Self-Service Stripe Customer Portal Capabilities

Our integration with the official Stripe Customer Portal puts full billing management directly in your hands without needing to wait for support responses. Through the portal, you can:

• Update Payment Methods: Replace expiring credit or debit cards, add secondary payment methods, or update your registered billing address.
• Download Historical VAT/Tax Receipts: Access every past billing receipt, official invoice PDF, and tax breakdown containing our company tax registration identifiers for your corporate accounting records.
• Switch Billing Cadence: Upgrade from a monthly plan ($6/month) to an annual plan ($49/year) to save 32% annually, or switch back to monthly billing.

4. What Happens to Your Data Upon Cancellation

Because all invoice history, client profiles, and templates are stored locally in your browser's localStorage, cancelling your Pro subscription does not delete your data. You retain full access to all previously created invoices, client records, and templates. When your subscription reverts to the Free tier, your saved drafts remain intact and available for printing or downloading with standard Free formatting.

5. Post-Billing Refund Policy & Accidental Renewal Inquiries

Because Deleix Invoice Maker Pro provides an upfront 7-day free trial to evaluate all features thoroughly, subscription payments are generally non-refundable once billed. We do not provide prorated refunds or credits for partially used monthly or annual billing periods.

However, we understand that honest oversights occur. If your annual or monthly subscription renewed accidentally because you forgot to cancel prior to trial expiration, and you have not used the Pro features since the billing event, contact our support team at [email protected] within 48 hours of the charge. We will gladly review your case and issue a prompt, courteous refund.

Additionally, if you experienced an unexpected technical failure (such as an inability to activate your license due to a persistent server outage) or duplicate charges resulting from a payment gateway glitch, please contact us within 14 days of the charge date for full reimbursement.

6. Statutory Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits or affects any statutory cancellation or consumer rights you may hold under the consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction (such as statutory withdrawal rights for European Union consumers under the EU Consumer Rights Directive).
